Abstract

An inventory has been taken of the human remains and objects presenting elements of human origin. At such a juncture, it is appropriate to consider the primary value attributed to an object. Thus, contemporary artists use human hair as an artistic "material" so here the meaning of "human remains" is no longer associated with the human element. Human remains and associated items are identified in this inventory, allowing current issues about the symbolic, ethical and moral value attributed to them to be considered in greater depth.
