Retinoic acid inhibitors mitigate vision loss in a mouse model of retinal degeneration

Abstract: Rod and cone photoreceptors degenerate in retinitis pigmentosa (RP). While downstream neurons survive, they undergo physiological changes, including accelerated spontaneous firing in retinal ganglion cells (RGCs).
