“…We did not exclude people with obesity or measure the body mass index of the patients. However, considering the absence of relation with retinal vascular measures in a recent study and our previous study of which the current study subjects were drawn, it is not likely to be the sole contributor to the findings (Appaji, Abhishek et al, 2019b;Bannai et al, 2020). Nonetheless, future studies need to examine the effect of obesity on the relation between brain measure and retinal vascular caliber in schizophrenia.…”
