Retention of Placenta in Mithun (Bos Frontalis) Cow

Abstract: Aim of the study was to treat and study the effect of heamatological and biochemical profiles on retention of placenta (ROP) in mithun. A Nagaland strain of mithun cow delivered a healthy live male calf normally, however the case was diagnosed as ROP when it failed to expel after 24 hours of parturition.
