“…Endovascular stent implantation for treatment of shunt stenosis was described by Hatai in 1995 and Zahn in 1997 . Since that time, there have been case reports and a few small case series describing stent implantation in the various types of SPSs, including classical Blalock‐Taussig shunts, modified Blalock‐Taussig shunts and central aorto‐pulmonary shunts with good results and low morbidity .
