REST PERIOD STUDIES ON SEEDS OF AMELANCHIER, PRUNUS, AND SORBUS

Abstract: ABSTR,ACTSeed germinabiiity based on chernical ar-rd embryo greening tests was uscd as a means for deterrnining duration and cause of seed rest period in the spccies Amelanchier, Prunus, aid Sorbus. Both proccdures pror-ided reliable mcans for quick estimation of viability.
