Abstract: Objetive: To investigate the cardiopulmonary responses of one strength training session in young women. Method: Twenty-three women aged between 18 and 29 years participated in this study. All the volunteers were submitted to the following tests: cardiopulmonary and one-repetition maximum (1-RM).
