Response reversal during top-down modulation in cortical circuits with multiple interneuron types

Abstract: Pyramidal cells and interneurons expressing parvalbumin, somatostatin, or vasoactive intestinal peptide show cell type-specic connectivity patterns leading to a canonical microcircuit across cortex.
