Response Behavior of Nonspherical Particles in Homogeneous Isotropic Turbulent Flows

Abstract: In this study, the responsiveness of nonspherical particles, specifically ellipsoids and cylinders, in homogeneous and isotropic turbulence is investigated through kinematic simulations of the fluid velocity field.
