Respiratory failure in a child in the first months of life

Abstract: The article discusses diagnostic approaches to the patients of the first months of life with the signs of acute respiratory failure. It describes a clinical example of a two-month-old child with a cardiopulmonary insufficiency hospitalized in the infectious hospital; the insufficiency was regarded as a manifestation of acute infection of the lower respiratory tract.
