Resonances in Stellar Carbon Fusion

Abstract: A quantitative study of the astrophysically important sub-barrier fusion of C+ C is reported. Lowenergy collisions are described in the body-fixed reference frame using wave-packet dynamics within a nuclear molecular picture.
