Abstract:High molecular weight (HMW) hyaluronic acid (HA) is a highly abundant natural polysaccharide and a fundamental component of the extracellular matrix (ECM). Its size and concentration regulate tissues’ macro– and microenvironments, and its upregulation is a hallmark feature of certain tumors.
