Abstract: Resistin is originally reported as an adipose tissue-specific hormone and is thought to represent a link between obesity and insulin-resistant diabetes. Adipokines exert energy-regulation and has been reported to have neuroprotective effect like leptin, adiponectin, and ghrelin.
