Resistin gene expression: Novel study in dromedary camel (Camelus dromedarius)

Abstract: Resistin, an adipocyte-specific hormone involved in insulin resistance and adipocyte differentiation, was initially identified in adipose tissue and macrophages. The physiological role of this molecule in camels remains largely unexplored.
