Abstract: Several case reports of resistance to short‐term administration of nondepolarizing neuromuscular blocking agents (NNMBAs) have been reported in research and surgical settings. Recently, several reports documented resistance to NNMBAs during therapy for prolonged paralysis in critically ill patients.
