“…If sustainability is defined holistically, the required balance and the interplay of the three values (environmental, social, economic) necessitates a discussion of whether and how resilience can contribute to overall organizational sustainability, or, more in general, whether and how the two concepts are related [70]. As mentioned above, the dominant interpretations of resilience in the management context prescribe absorption, bouncing back to initial conditions, or adaptation towards reaching a new equilibrium without an explicit consideration of whether the initial conditions or the new conditions are more favorable or "sustainable" [71].…”

“…The most prolific countries in the study of the research topic, since the last few years, are developing research on CSR in the controversial sectors activity, such as those related to armament companies, nuclear power plant construction companies, manufacturing companies of warplanes and missiles, companies that manufacture armoured vehicles, nuclear submarines and guidance systems for nuclear missiles, or companies dedicated to military electronics, flight simulators, shooting systems and electronic defense [141]. On the other hand, research is also being carried out on the organizations' capacities to face a constantly changing environment, in relation to the development of sustainability as an ecological capacity [142,143], and on the contribution to the transparency of the reports of the financial performance driven by institutional pressures or differentiation strategies [144]. Figure 4 shows a collaboration map between major countries based on the co-authorship of their authors.…”

“…The theoretical background used in this study is the dynamic capability theory, which is the organization's ability to adapt to the changes in environment, opportunities and technology to maintain its competitiveness through improving, combing, protecting and reconfiguring business with the aim to expand, improve, and protect the organization's sustainability (Eisenhardt & Martin, 2006;Laaksonen & Peltoniemi, 2018;Teece, 2007). Dynamic capabilities illustrate how organization overcome problems in its environment through adapting in order to survive (Ammentorp, 1968;Souza, Alves, Macini, Cezarino, & Liboni, 2017). Dynamic capabilities can create opportunity for value creation through modification (Eisenhardt & Martin, 2006).…”
