Residue Zeros for a Parity-DegenerateNαTrajectory

Abstract: It is shown that a parity-degenerate nucleon Regge trajectory is consistent with known constraints if and only if the residue function develops at least three zeros. The position of one of these zeros is such that the spin-! -N f state, expected at 939 MeV, is eliminated.
