Residue levels of emamectin benzoate, imidacloprid and its major metabolites in cabbage from 12 regions in China and dietary risk assessment

Abstract: A modified quick, easy, cheap, effective, rugged and safe method combined with high‐performance liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry was established to investigate the residues of emamectin benzoate (EB), imidacloprid (IMI) and five IMI metabolites (IMI‐olefin, IMI‐urea, IMI‐guanidine, 5‐OH and 6‐CNA) in cabbage. The average recoveries of the seven compounds in cabbage were 80–102%, with relative standard deviations < 8.0%. The limit of quantification for each compound was 0.01 mg kg−1.
