“…Although the dissipation of the R -(−)-stereoisomer was found to be a little more than that of the S -(+)-stereoisomer at 21 days, since the amount of penthiopyrad present in the eggplant at this time was quite low, the probability of errors in the data also increased accordingly. Moreover, because an EF value of 0.5 indicated no stereoselective dissipation [ 18 ], the penthiopyrad stereoisomers were approximately free of stereoselective degradation in eggplants.
