Residential Segregation and Interethnic Contact in the Netherlands

Abstract: Dutch policy-makers perceive high shares of ethnic minorities in neighbourhoods as a problem; it might generate fewer opportunities for minorities to have contact with the native Dutch population and thereby hinder integration.
