“…The correlation coefficient was 0.202, a figure considered to be of weak significance. Neighbourhood amenities are location-specific, which can include physical characteristics; social environment; local and public facilities; and location and transport (Anderson, 2011; Gungor and Terzi, 2022). The locations of the four high-rise low-cost housing developments were found to be acceptable (although not the best) because they were sanctioned under the planning approval of the state; 30% of the total units built by private developers must be low-cost housing (Shuid, 2016).…”

“…In Table 1, only two out of nine papers were concerned with location/neighbourhood amenities, suggesting that the majority of parcel holders were contented with the location as they found that neighbourhood amenities were readily within their reach. In one case study of the Kayseri residential neighbourhood in Turkey, Gungor and Terzi (2022) discovered that the four factors reflecting the quality of life were: satisfaction with the neighbourhood; city-level urban services; neighbourhood relations; and belonging. City-level urban services refer to neighbourhood amenities; the belonging factor will be higher if more collective action prevails.…”

“…The survey concludes that EFA determined four essential factors affecting the ULQ as: 1) open spaces, 2) cultural, sports and recreational areas, 3) environment and 4) transportation. Previous research analysed the impact of socio-demographic characteristics on factor selection using ANOVA analysis (Arvanitidis et al ., 2009; Güngör and Terzi, 2022). In this study, we employed MANOVA to explore the similarities and differences in residents' responses based on their socio-demographic characteristics.…”

“…They suggested that urban planners prioritize the creation of green spaces and public parks to promote mental health and improve ULQ. Social, cultural and economic factors: Romice et al . (2016) suggested that social capital positively influenced residents' physical and mental health, while Güngör and Terzi (2022) highlighted the positive effects of cultural amenities on ULQ. Mouratidis (2021) contribute to the growing body of literature on the relationship between social capital and ULQ and provide practical implications for policymakers, urban planners and community organizers working towards neighbourhood regeneration and revitalization.…”
