RESGATE E PROPAGAÇÃO VEGETATIVA DE Sequoia sempervirens

Show more

“…Similar results were observed by Ramos-Vilches (2004), with differences in rooting (20.5 to 63.5%) in different stock plants of 2.5-year-old Sequoia sempervirens, using apical cuttings. Navroski et al (2015) working with sequoia cutting obtained variation between 40 and 80% of rooting, however without considering the effect of stock plants.…”

“…Due to specific environmental conditions, such as climate and soil, silviculture of S. sempervirens in Southern Brazil requires the selection of genetic materials adapted to such conditions (Navroski et al, 2015). More importantly, growing high-quality seedlings is a fundamental step toward S. sempervirens plantation.…”

“…Pereira et al (2018) found rooting over 85% in all seasons of the year. Navroski et al (2015) achieved rooting of almost 80% using 4,000 mg L -1 of AIA (indole-3-acetic acid). Rooting results greater than 60% were also obtained for Sequoia sempervirens by Pereira et al (2017a) and Pereira et al (2017b).…”
