Researches on the Influence of Thermal Treatment on the Mechanical Properties of Titanium Dental Prostheses

Abstract: The longevity of dental prostheses depends on the strictness of following the clinical-technological algorithm. The main method of obtaining the metallic dental prostheses is casting, which involves a succession of stages that may produce modifications in the alloy structure, that will lead to alteration of its biological and mechanical behaviour. The modification of some technological parameters influences the internal microstructure and, implicitly, the mechanical properties of the metallic dental prostheses… Show more

“…[1][2][3][4][5][6][7]. In the treatment of the complete edentation, there are a variety of prosthetic means capable of artificially reconstituting the disappeared teeth, in a more individualized manner, depending on the clinical situation, the objectives and the treatment criteria [8][9][10][11][12][13]. Because cyancobalamin deficiency is commonly treated by parenteral administration, the present study aims to compare the effectiveness of systemic treatment with vitamin B12 and the effectiveness of local treatment by complete dentures [14][15][16][17][18][19][20].…”
