Research Progress of Gadolinium in Heat Resistant Magnesium alloys

Abstract: Abstract. This paper expounds the characteristics of Gd and Mg-Gd binary alloys, Introduces the mechanism of Gd addition on the heat resistant magnesium alloys. Reviewed the research progress in magnesium alloys containing Gd on mechanical properties at room temperature and high temperature, and prospected their development prospects.
