“…BFG contains about 54–58 vol % N 2 , 22–27 vol % CO, 13–19 vol % CO 2 , 1–4 vol % H 2 , 0.06–0.4 vol % O 2 , and some sulfur-containing pollutants. These sulfur-containing pollutants mainly include 86–118 mg·m –3 COS and 20–60 mg·m –3 H 2 S, while others are present at negligible concentrations of less than 1 mg/m 3 . In China, about 70 billion m 3 /year of BFG is directly discharged into the atmosphere, which causes serious environmental pollution and climate impacts. , Due to the increasing problems of global resource scarcity and climate change, many national governments have introduced policies to limit sulfide emissions and enhance the utilization of secondary resources. The resource utilization of BFG shows promise because BFG contains CO and CO 2 , which are extremely important raw chemicals that can be used to synthesize products, such as ammonia and methanol.…”
