Research Progress in Conservative Treatment of Osteoarthritis in Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine

Abstract

Osteoarthritis is a common clinical chronic and progressive joint disease, which is often characterized by joint swelling and pain, deformity and dysfunction. At present, the treatment lacks targeted and specific drugs, often supporting symptomatic treatment, conservative treatment as the primary in the early and middle stages, there are many treatments, which can be roughly divided into Western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine, this article reviews Western medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, and integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine for clinical reference.
