Abstract:Based on the gear geometry theory and the normal meshing motion equation of gear pairs, changes of meshing points and angles are analyzed and the effect of tooth trace modification on gear pair meshing movement is discussed. It is concluded that chemical milling can effect tooth trace involute modification of fine-forged spur bevel gear, improve its surface quality and dimensional precision and therefore prolong its service life.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
