Research on the Specification and Acquisition of Maintenance Training Simulators in the U.S. Air Force

Abstract

This paper discusses and summarizes the findings and major products of a seven year project, sponsored by the Air Force Human Resources Laboratory, aimed at identifying and resolving some of the major difficulties inherent in the maintenance training simulator (MTS) requirements specification and acquisition process.
