Research on Spectrum Allocation of HF Access Network Based on Intelligent Frequency Hopping

Abstract: By directing at the problem that the existing fixed spectrum allocation method of HF access network cannot satisfy the new requirement of applying intelligent frequency hopping technology, the spectrum demand of intelligent frequency hopping HF access network is analyzed, and a spectrum allocation model based on graph coloring theory is established for the spectrum allocation issue of HF access network users. Besides, spectrum allocation algorithm applicable to intelligent frequency hopping HF access network i… Show more

“…The traditional anti-jamming methods in HF networks mainly include power control [8][9][10], frequency hopping (FH) [11,12] and automatic link establishment (ALE) [13,14]. The power control enhances communication performance by the game theory to find the optimal Nash Equilibrium(NE) point.…”

“…The FH extensively used in real equipments switches in several frequencies to reduce the influence of fading and jamming. Now, the adaptive FH [11] and intelligent FH [12] technologies have attracted great attention. The power control and frequency hopping, however, are not able to deal with the intelligent jamming.…”

“…FH technique avoids the jamming by switching its communication channel in several available channels. Recently, intelligent FH technologies have been considered in [13], [14]. The fourth generation which aims to make link establishment more intelligent and faster has been discussed in [15]- [17].…”
