Abstract:An improved RRT* algorithm based on dynamic bias angle and path simplification is proposed to address the problem that the traditional RRT* algorithm requires a large computational effort to obtain a better path. The algorithm uses a dynamic bias angle expansion strategy to enhance path planning guidance while avoiding local optimality, and then performs path simplification to eliminate redundant points and reduce path length. Finally, the improved RRT* algorithm is used to smooth the processed paths using cub… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
