Abstract:This paper presents a comprehensive study on enhancing the accuracy, real-time performance, and reliability of fault detection in conveyor belt drums. Leveraging insights from two distinct approaches, a novel lightweight network model, YOLOv8n + EMBC + SCC, is proposed.
