Research on dual matrix converter feeding an open-end-winding load controlled with the use of rotating space vectors

Abstract: The paper deals with control a dual matrix converter feeding an open-end-winding load allowing to increase the relative voltage value at the load up to the value of one and a half, with simultaneous complete elimination of the common mode voltage. Results of theoretical considerations are confirmed by means of laboratory measurements.

“…Experimental results are shown using open-loop V/f control strategy for an induction motor. In [8]- [9] a detailed mathematical analysis of this topology is presented. Additionally a modulation strategy aiming to reduce the CMV is studied and experimental results are shown for a passive resistive-inductive load.…”
