Research on Control Property of Low-temperature Floor Radiant Heating System

Abstract: A new energy-efficient and comfortable heating system, low-temperature floor radiant heating system of floor radiation is increasingly applied to a wide range of housing construction. In the paper, establishing the model of radiant floor heating systems, the effect of outdoor temperature, enclosure structures and heating storage characteristics that influence the indoor air temperature and the enclosure temperature, have been analyzed. The fuzzy-PID controller is chosen as the control radiant floor heating sys… Show more

“…Most of previous studies focused on heat transfer formulation problem. Despite its demonstrated advantages as comfortable and energy saving system, [3] floor radiant systems are difficult to be controlled [4]. The adequacy of the controllers is assessed based on room temperature fluctuation from a desired value (comfort value).…”

“…Furthermore, because many decoration companies use unregulated plate or inferior glue when bonding the veneer material as a way to cut costs, it leads to an indoor air quality issue in China that is more dire than in other countries (Qin and Dang, 2004); (3) The country's buildings have, overall, high air tightness for energy conservation coupled with insufficient room A c c e p t e d M a n u s c r i p t ventilation, especially in the winter (Zhu and Hao, 2002). Furthermore, radiant floor heating has been widely used in all kinds of buildings in China's North where extreme cold requires residents heat their homes, but do so in an energy efficient manner (Yang XM, 2006;Li M, 2009). In these cases, flooring materials can off-gas directly as a result of warm temperatures, which is precisely an important factor influencing formaldehyde and VOC emissions; therefore bake-out with floor radiation has broad application prospects in China.…”
