“Research of Physical Properties of Natural Semiconductor Fibers”

Abstract: It was revealed that the photoconductivity spectra of various varieties of cotton fibers doped with iodine are different from each other. It was found that the electrical conductivity of cotton fibers undoped and doped with iodine and KMnO4 increases exponentially with increasing temperature. Infrared quenching and long-term relaxation of the photoconductivity of cotton fibers doped with iodine were detected.
