Research of multipolar inverter driven induction motor for hybrid electric vehicle

Abstract: This paper attempts to present an optimal design strategy and characteristics of multipolar inverter-driven induction motor (MIDIM) for hybrid electric vehicle. The structures of stator lamination and layout of stator windings are analyzed. Analysis and calculation of Stator end Region Magnetic Field and the end of magnetic induction and electromagnetic force of MIDIM are discussed.The MATLAB is used to design the prototype.
