Research into Materials Aspects of Aircraft Maintenance and Life Extension — Part 3

Abstract: Bonded composite repair technology was pioneered at ARL and has been successfully used to repair a wide range of military and civilian aircraft. The technique has proved to be very cost effective and has been shown to increase the availability of aircraft by significantly reducing the repair time.
