Rescue of oocytes recovered from postmortem mouse ovaries

Abstract: It is well known that the survivability of gametes of postmortem carcass was decreased as time passes after death. In this study, it was examined whether cytoplasmic replacement rescues the survivability of germinal vesicle stage (GV) oocytes of postmortem carcass in the mouse.
