Product development is facing new challenges due to increasingly complex and individualized products in small batch sizes and short time to markets at high quality standards. Integrated product data management along with systematic requirements engineering and early stakeholder involvement are known to be key enablers for the success of future product development. In software development, established platforms such as GitHub exist, which have been shown to improve stakeholder communication, requirements elicitation, and software design decisions. In product development, similar platforms exist with impressive functionality, but which have some drawbacks such as closed source licenses, vendor-specific data formats, and expert-level user interfaces. To overcome the current situation, we study how the ideas of GitHub can be translated to an open source solution for product development and which concepts can be reused or must be changed. Core deliverables of our work are (1) an integrated data model of requirements (or design tasks), project schedules, and revisions of computer-aided design (CAD) models as well as (2) an interface model.

The purpose of this research is to achieve the following objectives: 1) Synthesize documents and international research on the characteristics of a smart university. 2) Synthesize the processes of distributed communicative language training (DCLT). 3) Design the system architecture of a DCLT platform that utilizes automatic speech recognition (ASR) technology for a smart university. 4) Evaluate the appropriateness of a DCLT platform that utilizes ASR technology for a smart university. Nine experts were selected for this research. They were required to have more than five years of relevant experience in the field, including expertise in system architecture, distributed enterprise, language teaching, and ASR. The research instruments included a suitable assessment form for evaluating the system architecture of a DCLT platform that utilizes ASR technology for a smart university. The results of this research indicate that the DCLT platform, which utilizes ASR technology, was considered suitable for a smart university.

Bagi Bumdes tentunya catatan keuangan sangat bermanfaat dimana pengelola dapat mengetahui secara rinci perkembangan usaha. Dengan memiliki pencatatan yang detail, maka pengelola dapat mengetahui sudah sejauh mana perkembangan usaha yang dimiliki melalui progres kondisi bisnis, apakah sedang meningkat, menurun, maupun dalam kondisi yang stagnan. Kondisi tersebut dapat terlihat dari catatan keuangan yang dimiliki. Pengelola juga dapat mengetahui kondisi keuangan bisnis. Sebagai Bumdes yang mungkin baru beberapa tahun berdiri, maka catatan keuangan sangat penting untuk melihat kondisi keuangan, sehingga pengelola mengetahui kondisi keuangan dari bulan ke bulan, maupun dari tahun ke tahun. Selain itu pengelola dapat menjadikan catatan keuangan sebagai sumber pengambil keputusan, karena keputusan sebuah bisnis dapat dilihat dari kondisi keuangan yang sedang dijalankan. Jika selama satu bulan ini dalam kondisi rugi, maka bisa menentukan target apa yang seharusnya dilakukan untuk meningkatkan keuntungan pada periode selanjutnya. Beberapa aplikasi telah disediakan oleh pemerintah akan tetapi banyak bumdes yang kesulitan dalam penggunaannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan rancang bangun aplikasi pencatatan keuangan bagi bumdes yang ramah dan mudah dalam penggunaannya. Aplikasi dibangun berdasarkan kebutuhan dasar bumdes melalui observasi dan hasil studi yang mendalam, kebutuhan bumdes diambil berdasarkan salah satu bumdes di Kabupaten Jember.Aplikasi pencatatan keuangan dapat membantu pihak Bumdes dalam pencatatan transaksi keuangan dan penyajian laporan transaksi, sehingga dampaknya adalah meningkatkan produktivitas dan kinerja Bumdes. Aplikasi ini lebih baik dari model pencatatan yang telah dipakai sebelumnya yaitu dari model dokumen cetak dan formulir spreadsheet sederhana.
