“…Nevertheless, a linear increase of iron concentration was observed for whole-body samples. In a similar fashion, a linear increasing relationship was found between the whole-body iron concentration and increased ferrous sulphate concentrations in the feed when offered to the stinging catfish (Heteropneustes fossilis) (Zafar & Khan, 2020) and Indian major carp (Labeo rohita) (Musharraf & Khan, 2019). For teleost fish, it is postulated that dietary iron is likely either stored in the liver or utilized during erythropoiesis, as suggested previously (Bury et al, 2012).…”

“…Due to higher bioavailability compared to inorganic salts, chelated minerals as feed supplements have beneficial effects on growth performance or immunity for animal (Apines-Amar et al, 2004;Manangi, Vazques-Añon, Richards, Carter, & Knight, 2015;Sarker, Satoh, & Kiron, 2007). Dietary iron levels significantly influenced whole body moisture, protein, and lipid content (Musharraf & Khan, 2019). We speculated that the crude protein in loach meat increased because Fe (II)-HPH was used as additive to supplement amino acids in feed (Eckert et al, 2016) and the increase in whole body protein also may be because of the availability of optimal amount of iron activating the protein metabolism resulting into improved protein retention and fish growth (Musharraf & Khan, 2019).…”

“…The AMBI and M-AMBI indices were used to evaluate the environmental ecological quality of the Shenzhen Bay intertidal zone, and various biological indices and fouling biological communities were used to evaluate the water quality. Summarizing the analysis of the improvement and application of biological index in China, due to the late start, data shortage and many other factors, it lags behind foreign countries [10]. At present, the Shannon-Wiener diversity index evaluation is the usual method for analyzing the environmental effects of marine benthic communities in my country.…”
