Abstract:The dense stromal matrix in fibrotic tumors hinders tumor‐targeted drug delivery. Tamoxifen (TMX), an estrogen receptor modulator that is clinically used for the treatment of breast cancer, is shown to reprogram the tumor microenvironment (TME) and to alleviate desmoplasia.
