Climate change due to different human activities is causing adverse environmental conditions and uncontrolled extreme weather events. These harsh conditions are directly affecting the crop areas, and consequently, their yield (both in quantity and quality) is often impaired. It is essential to seek new advanced technologies to allow plants to tolerate environmental stresses and maintain their normal growth and development. Treatments performed with exogenous phytohormones stand out because they mitigate the negative effects of stress and promote the growth rate of plants. However, the technical limitations in field application, the putative side effects, and the difficulty in determining the correct dose, limit their widespread use. Nanoencapsulated systems have attracted attention because they allow a controlled delivery of active compounds and for their protection with eco-friendly shell biomaterials. Encapsulation is in continuous evolution due to the development and improvement of new techniques economically affordable and environmentally friendly, as well as new biomaterials with high affinity to carry and coat bioactive compounds. Despite their potential as an efficient alternative to phytohormone treatments, encapsulation systems remain relatively unexplored to date. This review aims to emphasize the potential of phytohormone treatments as a means of enhancing plant stress tolerance, with a specific focus on the benefits that can be gained through the improved exogenous application of these treatments using encapsulation techniques. Moreover, the main encapsulation techniques, shell materials and recent work on plants treated with encapsulated phytohormones have been compiled.

Nanotechnologies play an important role in the modern world economy. As they deal, as a rule, together with other convergent (nano-, bio-, info-, cognitive) technologies. This connection causes a synergy effect, i.e. non linear development of innovations. The growth dynamics of the world's nanotechnology products is impressive. The world market of nanotechnologies in 2021 was 85 billion dollars, in 2024 (plan) will be 140 billion dollars. The forecast for 2030 is $288 billion. The production of nanoparticles of different nature and their use in different industries, fields of science, and technology takes a special place in nanotechnology. Both nanotechnology itself and the production and application of nanoparticles are interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral ones. Their users and customers are developed industries, including the textile industry. Metal nanoparticles are used both in the form of colloidal solutions and as part of microcapsules containing functional substances of different nature in the core. The article considers some methods of obtaining metal nanoparticles and microcapsule synthesis. The authors list the technologies of microcapsules application for textile functionalization.

The most prevalent nutrient is potassium (K), which makes up around 2.5% of the lithosphere. Approximately 90–98% of soil mineral K is present in the forms of feldspar (orthoclase and microcline) and mica (biotite and muscovite). Particularly in smallholder agriculture, replenishing potassium remains difficult because of its dependence on fertilizer. Potassium shortage in soil can be addressed by the use of soluble mineral potassium fertilizers; however, farmers have been constrained by the high price and restricted availability of these products. The present study aims to identify and select soil Actinomycetes from the soils used in the ceramic industry that may dilute potassium. Since feldspar, an insoluble potassium source, is used by most ceramic manufacturers as a raw ingredient, we gathered samples from these businesses. In the Gujarati cities of Morbi, Meshana, and Kadi, ceramic firms were contacted for a total of fifteen samples. 22 Actinomycetes isolates were chosen for further investigation after primary and secondary screening and inoculation onto Aleksandrov agar supplemented with 0.5 percent potassium aluminium silicate. The 16S rRNA sequence of strain KSA 16 confirmed that it was Streptomyces atacamensis. In a liquid solution, KSA 16 was the most effective in dissolving the insoluble potassium source, feldspar.
