Reproductive Responses to Daily Injections with Porcine Somatotropin Before Mating in Gilts

Abstract: Abstract. Litter size and progeny birth weights are lower in gilts than in sows. Somatotropin (ST) is an important regulator of ovulation, fetal growth and survival.
