The Kalahari red goat is a newly introduced breed of goat into Nigeria few years ago with certain unique features such as ability to adapt easily to the arid and semi-arid savannah, high-quality foraging tendency and excellent mothering aptitude [12] consequently it is popularly known as a "minimum care/maximum profit" breed [13]. The Kalahari red goat has been found to have coat colours similar to the indigenous red sokoto goats but tending more towards the reddish brown colour.…”
