Abstract: Spontaneous baroreflex sensitivity (BRS), the reflex heart rate modulation in response to blood pressure changes (predominantly an index of cardiac vagal activity) and temporal QT variability (an index of myocardial repolarization) have been demonstrated to convey important prognostic information.
