“…[35] The improvement in PCCN according to the self-perception of the caregivers in this study could have enhanced its performance, given that the perception of internal locus of control and self-efficacy are associated with better practices of self-care, adherence to treatment and healthy lifestyles according to reports from other studies in that sense.
