Report of a rare anatomic variant: left upper lobe partial anomalous pulmonary venous return

Abstract: A 61-year-old man presented to the emergency department with a 5-week history of dyspnea, cough and transient episodes of fever. These symptoms did not respond to antibiotic treatment. He was known with COPD GOLD III and α1-antitrypsin deficiency. Initially he had an arterial oxygen saturation of 87%, which could not be increased with O2-administration. Clinical findings
