Abstract: The remarks of Anfiloff are clearly designed, not, as he claims in his opening paragraph, to narrow the gulf between the inversion and forward modeling approaches to interpretation, but instead to attempt to completely discredit the inversion philosophy, culminating in two somewhat emotional paragraphs.
