Reply to Fielding and MacKay's Paper, ``Spectra and Photoconduction of Phthalocyanine Complexes''

Nous avons a étudié la photoconductivité de sur facede nombreux monocristaux de CuPc et à titre de comparaison de plusieurs couches minces de même corps. Le cristal est photoconducteur de 2500 Å a 8000 Å. Le spectre de photoconduction a une ressemblance grossière avec le spectre d'absorption; il ne présente aux températures étudiées (> 170 °K) aucune structure fine. Il y a cependant une faible énergie d'activation de photoconduction (0,1 eV). Aux intensités utilisées, le photocourant est sous linéaire et dépend peu des conditions ambiantes. La dépendance de photocourant en fonction de la tension appliquée permet de calculer le nombre approximatif de porteurs à la surface.
