Jhan Bereche,
Juan García

Abstract: Refractory brick waste, added to the fires originated in structures, makes it possible to bring together two problems to contribute to sustainable construction and introduce new aggregate alternatives in concrete. The objective of the study was to produce concrete with less fine aggregate and to evaluate a more sustainable concrete, using refractory brick residues (RBR) to replace fine aggregate in five percentages 10 %, 20 %, 30 %, 40 % and 50 % to be exposed to direct fire.
