Renewable Energy Generation Gaps in Poland: The Role of Regional Innovation Systems and Knowledge Transfer

Abstract: Aim of the research is to analyze regional gaps in terms of renewable energy generation across Poland. For this purpose, four types of regions were outlined based on two indicators: the existing renewable energy generation capacity and the current regional energy demand revealed through the number of residents.
